THE GOOD GUYS AND THE BAD GUYS

Parker and Doug, neighborhood buddies of Take It Or Leave It's Chester Matson, organize under the code names Bloodhound and Barracuda to track down a roller skate rustler Parker has branded a ""menace to the whole valley."" When the boys' posse catches up with the wrong guy only to have the local old codger Tyson B. Tyson identify himself as the real ""thief,"" one might think that Parker's admiration for the methods of television lawmen would be deflated but the result is just the opposite -- his friend Doug, formerly an avid reader, plans to spend more time in front of the TV ""so he would understand things a little better and always know, right from the start, if someone was one of the good guys or one of the bad guys."" Grownups may blink at the moral, but other Dougs will be able to skate right through this and be back in front of their sets ten minutes later.
