WORKMEN OF GOD by Oswald Chambers

WORKMEN OF GOD

By

Publisher: Dodd, Mead

At last, no one could possibly have done it better, a book has been written on the ""How"" of personal work. With the exception of Howard Walters' tiny and privately printed Soul Surgery, written around five tenets given him by Frank Buchman, there has been no book that gave what this book gives. From years of experience with people, Chambers knows well that though everyone is different and there are no hard and fast rules, there are lazy, hard, selfish, timid, gloomy, troubled people on every side waiting to be helped. He knows that seminaries, schools and churches all neglect this training and he knows the way for the workman who would prepare himself to be used as God's tool. The Oxford Group and the evangelical churches should use thousands of copies and there is not a clergyman or priest who would not profit by a pocket edition.
