On March 14 a year ago the long anticipated new English translation of the Bible (New Testament) was jointly published by the Oxford and Cambridge University Press. Anticipating sales of about a million copies, the world-wide total already exceeds four times that number. This ""hard-cover"" edition was sold at $4.95. Now to celebrate the anniversary, a paper-back edition is published. Doubtless further millions will wish to own this edition, or give it to many friends. It would seem to be a book to be ordered early and often.
