If the Religious Experience of the Primitive Church could be duplicated today what would happen? As we read and begin to see what happened in those early days when men come face to face with Jesus it makes us dare to believe that it could all be re-cted today if men did not spend their time trying to complicate matters by dragging in so much ill digested theology, psychology and higher criticism, as a screen against the wind of the spirit, lest it catch them up and sweep them out of their complacency into a true religious experience. Written by an excellent psychologist, the modern tone of this book makes it easy, interesting reading for anyone so don't let the title score you. It's a good book on a popular theme.
