AMIGO: CIRCUS HORSE

The author of Thunder, and Pat's Harmony presents Amigo as a sure candidate for the popularity her other horses have won. He is an unpredictable palomino as Franz, whose father has an act in the circus with two Lippizans, begins to take a liking to him and becomes more and more convinced that his caprices can be controlled. Amigo is scared of other animals, particularly elephants. His tendencies to shy and bolt get his master, a Mexican juggler, into such difficulties that it is almost decided to do away with him. How Franz and his friends win the confidence of Amigo and how Franz comes to have the horse for his own make a story with a real circus thrill to it.
