KIRKUS REVIEW

There's plenty of sound matter of fact might-be-true material in this, but frequently Pamela Bianco has shifted focus in the telling so that it takes on an adult and sometimes patronizing tone, which could have been avoided. The incidents are authentic in feel, the sorts of things two five year olds would experience and enjoy sharing with others. Personally, I've always felt the Pamela Bianco illustrations too mannered for the average child's taste. Pretty solid reading for beginning readers; reading aloud for 5 to 7.
