KINGS HIGHWAY

By

Publisher: Macmillan

Third and last volume in the Starforth trilogy, the story of that highborn Family ed by Elizabeth when she turned against all Papists. The books are closely enough interwoven to make their independent sale problematical. The stress is on the mystical, on the godly, with a certain mannered tremulousness of style which restricts them somewhat to a religious market. This third volume takes the Starforths to the colony of saint Crolx, in Canada, and carrier on to the next generation, when Erith, unborn at the time of the le, falls in love with a well-born Indian youth, and in their marriage, bleeds the old world and the new. Limited market.
