"CLEAN YOUR ROOM, HARVEY MOON!"

Harvey's unwilling, but Mom is firm: no more TV until he picks up! Bemoaning the passing hours and missed Saturday programs, he tackles a truly monumental mess (succinctly described in verse), stuffing most of it under his rug. Mom's not so easily fooled, but she does have a sense of humor: after lunch, we'll ""get started on lump number one!"" Cummings's bold, sculptural forms and unusual perspectives add to the humor. An entertaining exaggeration of a familiar situation, by a Coretta Scott King Award winner.
