KIRKUS REVIEW

More hex appeal. This time Dorrie helps out Big Witch at the Library Bazaar--and helps her right out of sight. She accidentally leaves Wink the Wizard's jar of Magic on the sale table where her Mother expects headache powder, then discovers that the spell turns witches into whatever they are looking at when they drink it. At first afraid that she has sold her mother, Dorrie eventually realizes the cup's the thing--but how to transubstantiate? The missing Wink has the wherewithal but Dorrie has to beguile him with a batch of fudge before he'll work it out. Formula magic, but it still has charm.
