MORTISSIMO

If you don't think about what's happening here (actually, you won't have time to) you'll enjoy this, even if it's probably more confusing than puzzling. It's a high gloss intrigue which begins on the Via Veneto where Miklos Loranthy, a Hungarian, a Baron who deals--dubiously--in pictures, is approached by Barbara Eliot who claims she killed a man in the apartment where she was supposed to be staying and to which she is reluctant to return. There seems to be very little evidence, but every indication that perhaps she did, and this takes a fast spin from a villa to a movie set (where this should end up) to a frantic finish at the airport. Mortissimo's very espresso, with a demi-hero and a quasi-romance and some attractive backgrounds. A first with flair.
