WADDY AND HIS BROTHER

By

Pub Date: Sept. 3rd, 1963

Waddy, a bug-eyed, fat-faced humanized raccoon is a chunky letdown from the author of The Lost Playground (1963, p.182, J-70). Waddy is ""cute""; his baby brother is precious; together they play cute little games and fall asleep, leaving the house cluttered with pillow feathers, silverware, etc. When their sweet mother returns, Waddy receives only praise and attention for having created havoc while minding little brother.
