KIRKUS REVIEW

A previous death and a jewel robbery combine to keep Henry Tibbett, a Chief Inspector of Scotland Yard, from completely enjoying his boating (NOT yachting) holiday on England's East Coast. That they involve his hosts -- and upset their sailing plans -- and that two other killings, occur, tie into the secret of the tides, of a hidden cache, and Tibbett's rationalizing of fact and character. A build up in small things.
