KIRKUS REVIEW

Originally planned for older girls, then published for adults. (For full report, see page 434, Dec. 15th issue.) Story of an airline stewardess, a girl who had trained as a nurse, and who managed to win her wings and to get the glamor assignments. On the side, there is a bit of romance, with a young inventor, top man in the field. A more serious note is struek in the volunteer work for Red Cross flood relief. Well done of its type -- vocational slant most important.
