KIRKUS REVIEW

Miss Silver again, clicking away along with her knitting needless on the case which concerns wealthy, peremptory Adriana Ford, when the attempts which have been made against her life result in the deaths of two others. A rather large household of dependents and hopeful heirs, a vagrant husband, and a promising romance keep this pleasantly perturbed, and Miss Silver is as always a reassuring figure.
