Braille letters, clear black type, and raised shapes on smooth plastic pages make it possible for sighted and blind children to follow this satisfying story of Redbird, a small propeller plane on a flying adventure. The plane encounters rain, clouds, ducks, a kite, and another plane; finally, the reader is invited to continue the story alone. The raised shapes are tactilely appealing and different enough so that the illustrations can be read by touching or seeing. Sturdy spiral binding, washable plastic cover and pages. A useful, appealing title, well worth its price.
