KIRKUS REVIEW

More marital troubles for Peter and Iris Duluth when, in Iris' absence, Peter is friendly to Nanny Ordway and is repaid by finding her body hanging in their bedroom when Iris returns. Suspected by the neighbors, a letter to Iris from the dead girl and Peter is nearer the noose. But a concentrated hunt through the girl's past, lands one jump ahead of the police -- innocent. Troubled and tense.
