I LIKE ORANGE

A listing of orange colored objects, each one presented double spread with a caption in large type. Some are familiar -- others may draw a blank in the minds of very young listeners, the streaks in orlole's wings, ""kumquats to chew"". The illustrations by Lois Ehlert are simple and colorful and supposedly the child is encouraged to create his own series of orange objects. As ""environment openers"" go, there is too little motivational substance here to succeed in that area.
