The pictures show the Dream Garden, the fairy forest and the enchanted trees and prancing ponies which await them in the world of sleep. The illustrations, by Beatrice Braun-Fock, are more ""busy"" than inventive. Nor is the text particularly poetic. Jaded pastiche.
