THE MYSTERY OF SAINT SALGUE by Paul Berna

THE MYSTERY OF SAINT SALGUE

By

Publisher: Pantheon

By an author whose specialty is large groups of bedgraggled French children (The Horse Without a Head, The Knights of King Midas), this is about a gang of ten as their destination. Shortly out of Paris they become friendly with a Canadian couple heading for a village (apparently non-existent) named Saint-Salgue. Following several mishaps caused by a malevolent stranger, the group becomes entangled in a race to save the mysterious Saint Salgue. The jumbled, but exciting adventure involving a very spirited and real group of very Parisian children provides plenty of surprises.
