Here and there, a few new facts that there may be a ""Male Pill"" before long or that the six week before-and-after childbirth ban on sexual activity has been lifted. There are a great many more that will be unfamiliar -- mostly medical (Dr. Benjamin is well accredited) and a little history (condoms were once made out of sheeps' bladders). However 98% of this is general obstetrical and gynecological information re birth control (and all devices), sterilization, abortion, pregnancy tests, genetic and Rh factors, diseases and drugs (LSD) which may damage the fetus, on to the menopause. A last chapter on cosmetic surgery except for its paragraph on gender exchange seems unrelated to the main body of the text. Occasionally the authors take a quiet position, say on providing the proper sex counseling as well as pharmaceuticals for minors.... Quite satisfactory for what it is.
