There is more than ""promise"" here. Paul Englo -- in some of the verse in this little collection -- has indicated the verve and virility and sturdy strength of Carl Sandburg and Edgar Lee Masters and Robert Frost. It is individual too, much of it -- not imitative. Here is a poet to watch. It's good stuff.
