The title of this little volume is broad and indefinite enough to cover an introductory essay of appreciation of Dr. Tillich by Dean Jerald C. Brauer of Chicago; two further essays of appreciation by Professor Wilhelm Pauck and Dr. Mircea Eliade; and four essays by Dr. Tillich himself. These deal with the impact of Space explorations on Man; Frontiers; the idea of Progress, and the relation of the study of the History of Religions to Systematic theology. The four subjects illustrate the range of contemporaneity of Tillich's thought, adding new insights to his already widely known theological position. The book will be welcomed by both students of theology and the very wide circles of lay readers of Tillich's writings. It maintains firmly his stature as thinker and man.
