DEATH IN THE DESERT

An historic and authoritative account of the fifty years war we waged against the Apache, Tace and Modoc Indians in order to gain the Southwest. The story of their extermination is a bloody one, full of death and torture, treachery and doublecrossing. And the white man did his share of these things, too. Interesting handling -- as in his Death on the Prairie. Good source material -- and good American background material.
