THE THIRSTY PONY

This looks like a picture story book, but has a more extended story, gauged for a somewhat older age level. Blue was a very smart cow pony, and when his young owner forgot to give him drinking water at night, he solved the problem for himself -- and, for a time, created a mystery that seemed inexplicable. The blue tone used throughout casts a queer light effect over all the pictures.
