KIRKUS REVIEW

The murder of the lovely, venomous, vindictive Vanessa Burnley, on the isolated island of San Rafael, is well motivated; she would not permit her husband- in love with another girl- to divorce her; she had witnessed an unacknowledged hit and run killing; a former lover was not beyond her influence. An infra red negative- of the scene of the crime- clues the case for the police. A first, this is a respectable beginning, conscientiously planned and written.
