Useless Information and More Useless Information established Paul Steiner Browser's Bamboozler. With this present collection, his sly intent is to once again arrest the mind -- all day. The snatches of information included here have all been sworn true by various historians. Three excerpts will show that it is also all very odd: 1.)""...Confederate General Ewell sometimes believed he was ird. He would emit a distinct `Cheep-cheep' and eat nothing but a few grains of wheat.""; 2.)""Poet Paul Verlaine's mother kept her three stillborn infants pickled in bottles.""; 3.) ""Jane Mansfield, the film star, has a bathroom with fur walls, floor and ceiling."" Resistance is further reduced by the cartoons of the former New Yorker staffer and present Assistant Art Director of Punch, Kenneth ahood. This is the sort of numbing amusement you always hope to find in professional waiting rooms instead of the 1912 National Geographic.
