KIRKUS REVIEW

The author of Bertram and His Funny Animals once again tells an impossible story with such assurance that it seems almost credible. Elmer wanted a circus. So did his pals. So they all saved their allowances and their pennies- and acquired just the most wonderful circus ever. It has so much that is good about it, that I wish it had not been presented as an achievement with-in bounds.
