The reader of this book will soon find himself beyond his depth unless he is accustomed to dealing with philosophical concepts. For Tillich immediately plunges deep into ontology in his search for the true meaning of these words and the relationship of the three concepts of love, power and justice to one another. Having found their common root in the nature of being itself, he discusses their implications and applications in personal and group relations.
