KIRKUS REVIEW

Perhaps this should rightfully be listed under the heading of books for use by parents and teachers, for I cannot imagine young people taking these plays and putting them on without considerable direction and advice. In the first place, only two of the plays are really juvenile in characters or content. In the second place, there is virtually no direction as to staging, casting, costuming. And yet -- on Carroll's name, this volume will probably sell.
