KIRKUS REVIEW

The technique of job hunting -- and therefore a somewhat different approach from the concrete job analysis or the inspirational book. Constant change means constant new openings, so youth has more opportunity than it seems, granted the right approach. Study ones own abilities, interests, training; study the companies where jobs might be had and decide where you fit the picture. Then look at the six main ways to approach job hunting:- placement bureaus, friends and family, commercial agencies, personal solicitation, letters of application and commercial advertising. A book that should prove practical in its suggestions, without being exhaustive.
