BABY IN THE SCHOOLROOM

A third grade classroom of long ago- in our grandmothers' times- is the setting for an enchanting period piece based on what really happened. The school was a very proper school ""for refined young ladies"" and the most unexpected thing happened. The third grade teacher brought her baby to the schoolroom. How the baby became the children's property and how the inflexible Miss Hall, the principal, became the baby's advocate makes a charming tale. This for the set that I likes to hear all about the ""olden days"".
