KIRKUS REVIEW

Rather a silly story, of a little girl with a natural desire for a new hat, and of how when she went, escorted by the family, to get one, she discarded every one offered, and came away with her old beret, put on at a new angle. Small type, for the beginning reader, and yet the format and story would not interest older children.
