KIRKUS REVIEW

This is the second one of Miss Mason's suspense stories, a little more subdued, about the time when Heidi, a Swiss au pair girl stays with the three children of a psychiatrist and the phone is cut off and their squirrel Tiddli is killed by a specter in the garden, and Heidi's new friend moves right in the house and..... Definitely an impulse item which doesn't seem any more substantial than a melted popsicle.
