For the more solicitous parent, still another aspect of bringing up children-and the orientation here will enable her (presumably) to treat illness normally, with the necessary ""tender loving care"" and without communicating fear. The right attitudes- for both generations will help deal with doctors, medicines and shots; dentistry; surgery and hospitalization; and the sick room at home- whether for short or longer periods- and there are constructive suggestions on how to entertain the patient- and how he can entertain himself..... There's nothing to quarrel with here- but one might question the need for a whole book-rather than just a chapter in other child care books- on this particular problem.
