KIRKUS REVIEW

The dead angel is one Smoky Angel ""with an afflicted Neptune,"" the protege of a Mrs. Blavatsky Jones who runs a nudist camp New Life Division in the Cotswolds and who thought Smoky was the world's greatest psychic. Who will succeed him? It doesn't matter too much, nor does the detection by Inspector Capricorn which shimmies with intangibility. But what counts are the characters with strange karmasomes and the genuinely amusing aura--all lighter than the air it levitates in.
