KIRKUS REVIEW

Entertaining light love story which moves from England to Hollywood for the main action and the glamour. The hero is a handsome fellow, hampered by deafness and a terrible wife. His godfather trains him for the screen and in spite of his handicaps, he becomes a star and a screen idol. With the death of his master, our hero retires, fails in love with a beautiful and tragic girl, secures a divorce, and all ends happily. Neither a very good nor a very bad tale -- and will do for rental libraries. Definitely a woman's book.
