THE SECOND ADLER BOOK OF PUZZLES AND RIDDLES

This second collection (following The Adler Book of Puzzles and Riddles, 1962, p.520, J-140) consists of puzzles ranging from easy picture riddles to real arithmetical stumpers. The author has included hidden geography puzzles, rebuses, picture arithmetic puzzles, and word evolution puzzles-- all of her own invention. The supporting illustrations are merely adequate. Time consuming time-killers for a long rainy day.
