MONKEY IN THE HOUSE

For animal lovers of all ages, here is a fond and catching, small chronicle of the adoption of a baby Capuchin monkey and his stay in the author's eastern Scotland household. With no guidance at all, Mrs. Barnard and her daughter fed and cared for him, provided the cosseting and companionship he needed but were never able to housebreak him or allow him real freedom. His eventual move to a zoo solved many problems for both humans and monkey.
