KIRKUS REVIEW

Pete Fry- Private Eye -- late of The Grey Sombrero-chances to see a car roll into an Amsterdam canal, watched by a dazed and very drunk Englishman. From that moment on he is in ""it"" --whatever ""it"" is. There had been a man in the car. Another man who knows too much dies mysteriously. There's a woman bit too, of course- Pete Fry is suspectible to the opposite sex. Palpably from the pulps.
