Cruise a heavy lightweight entertainment, is one of those shopworn grand hotels in which you spend the first chapters sorting out the passenger list and crew, and then re-arranging them in their staterooms. Namely, briefly, Captain Corlett making his last trip; David Welch his Chief Officer, servicing avid Lady Fiona whose husband is impotent but who shifts latitudes midway--to Pamela Westcott a widow; Pamela's young son, Richard, who is approached by the homosexual son of a dentist from Detroit. Why go on--the Queen Dee does, with stopoffs in Nice, Athens, Beirut until the final accident and the passengers are alerted to abandon ship. You may already have done so.
