KIRKUS REVIEW

Fact and fiction, half and half in some thirty pieces featuring of course the legendary forebears--Faust and Gilles de Rais and Cesare Borgia, The cast of contributors is formidable including Lovecraft, Shirley Jackson, Ursula LeGuin, Robert Graves, Borges, among some you know, some you won't. There's a silly ""Epilogue"" by Ray Bradbury on re-seeing Rosemary's Baby and re-writing its ending? And a few appropriately black. . . and white old engravings to further illustrate.
