The three invincibles -- Pat, Sam and Ezra -- become do-gooders here as they help young Rush Catlin get free of the reputation hardcase Bat Yandle hangs on him. Guarding Galt's cattle, Rush has the boy Sid as a burr under his tail, the girl Ivy as an ideal to achieve, but Bat is adhesive and tricky and Rush is pushed into an owlhoot gang. Pat however sticks closer and makes sure Rush gets in the clear. Persistent.
