Though we must confess to a lack of tolerance for the genre, this tiny package of witless words and minimally amusing sketches must be one of the dopiest examples yet. Mixed in with a few simple riddles (""When can a giant be small? When he's with his big brother"") and some totally senseless ones (""Who eats diamonds, emeralds and rubies? The strong-toothed and the sucking Boobies"") are some silly little rhymes (""Munch munch crunch crunch/I like to eat a rock for lunch""; ""Splish splash slip slop/Life is soggy when you're a mop""). There are further piddling riddles and rhymes about ""poogles and fwats,"" ""silly ghouls,"" a ""jerky turkey"" and a ""great big bounding lump"" -- but it's little indeed next to a collection such as Maria Leach's similarly priced (cheaper in paper) Riddle Me Riddle Me, Ree (1970).
