NIGHT OF RECKONING

This extravangaza with lots of luxury touches sashays between the implausible and the improbable, follows Roger Cardell to Italy, then Spain, after some lingerie left in his hotel room compromises him with the Signora Travis whom he had never known. In a small village in Spain, he finds a whole coterie of expatriates under her spell which actually proves to be the domination of blackmail and ends when he finds her-- just a beautiful body on a bed.... High gloss dross.
