In this dissonant eyesore from Australia, ""One dragon had a dream/that two turkeys teased him/three tigers told him off""--and so on, through his seizure by four frogs, his trial by six storks, and finally his return home towed by ten turtles as the entire cast looks on. The senseless sequence of events is pictured, in black line over heavy color, on pages cluttered with all manner of out-of-place objects and surreal juxtapositions: A suit of armor holds a broom and dustpan, a duck-billed platypus floats by with a tall hat for a boat and a mandolin for a paddle, oversized padlocks join snakes in the grass, caterpillars snorkle, fish fly, pen nibs strew the sidewalks, and so on past satiety or tolerance.
