LEONARDO DA VINCI

Long awaited addition to the Phaiden Press series, this important volume with its 200 odd illustrations, chiefly from Leonardo's drawings, reproduced where possible in original size. There's a biography by Vasari, plus commentary and extracts from Leonardo's Note Books. It is pretty generally conceded that the value of the Phaidon Press items cannot be equalled elsewhere. This Leonardo volume will probably fill a long standing demand, despite other volumes on the same material.
