STREAMLINE FOR HEALTH

A book on reducing diets, methods, and systems to avoid. Sound common sense, with authentic data regarding calories, kinds of foods, type of exercise, health principles. There is no royal road to a sylph-like figure -- and no assurance that, neglected, a figure gained can be retained. The style is at times irritatingly facetious -- again mildly amusing. But the stuff is there, so why quarrel on that score. One chapter -- and allusions throughout -- succeeds in tearing the Hay diet, and other fashionable or widely advertised methods, in shreds.
