Mr. Loraine is one of the real spendthrift scenarists but you'll enjoy his excesses beginning with a diamond and ruby Faberge egg, going on to the lovely young woman who's using her body to take leave of it, and a splendid San Francisco mansion now tenanted by the malevolent Mrs. Guardi and her companion-collaborator who houses a psi power in her shapeless self. In synch with all that's paranormally going on -- inductive, seductive stuff which won't leave you time to talk to your begonias or your husband.
