THE TETRAMACHUS COLLECTION

Stolen from the Secret Archives of the Vatican is a volume of letters and cables which if made public, would ""tear the Church apart."" The wartime documents indicate that the Vatican not only condoned the atrocities of the Third Reich, but also later helped Nazi war criminals to escape to South America, hardly an original idea. The pious pilferer, Father Martin Belobraditz, wants to prevent a conspiratorial Polish prelate from succeeding to the papacy. Contributing to the muddled bloodshed which follows are Italian nco-fascists; French counterespionage; a covert CIA-KGB intelligence organization known as ISIS; and a deadly female assassin, Heidi. Overexerted.
