BANANA TREE HOUSE

There has long been a need for a story against a Bermuda background, and here it is. Not wholly satisfactory, for the story is a bit too full of adventure to ring true for the average Bermuda visitor (or resident), but into the adventures of a little colored girl and her brothers a good deal of fact about Bermuda is given. The Hader illustrations are charming, if a trifle sentimentalized. A book that should have a continued sale for Bermuda winter visitors.
